Dead by Daylight Iron Maiden collaboration came up in an unexpected way. If you are asking how a metal band and a co-op horror game can collaborate, let’s tell you the details of the collaboration.
Dead by Daylight collaborated with Iron Maiden
The collaboration adds a new collection of outfits featuring the band’s iconic mascot Eddie. Inspired by Eddie’s various appearances over the years, the collection features different versions of Eddie, including The Dredge, The Doctor, The Deathslinger and The Oni. Players will also receive Iron Maiden t-shirts designed exclusively for the game’s original Survivors characters.
Announcing the collaboration, product manager Kirby Taylor said, “This is an incredibly exciting new collaboration for us to be a part of. Eddie is truly an icon and it was a dream come true to see which Killer characters we could pair him with. It’s also great that they’ll be wearing some of our Survivor characters’ t-shirts. We’ll also be adding a few surprises to the game as part of this collaboration, but we’ll leave that for players to find out.”
The Iron Maiden Collection is available for purchase in the game. In addition to these new cosmetic items, players who purchase the collection will be able to listen to Iron Maiden’s Fear of the Dark when equipped with any of these cosmetics.
The Dead by Daylight Iron Maiden collaboration comes on the heels of the All Things Wicked update, which will be released on March 12th. This DLC features a completely new storyline and looks dark and eerie as expected.
